Thank you to everyone who supported our recent black-tie dinner. We are delighted to have raised over £8,500 from a wonderful evening. This will help us to continue to deliver our bereavement support to children, young people and adults on our island.
We would like to thank all our guests for attending – everyone has told us how much they enjoyed a fun night! We would also like to thank everyone involved in pulling the evening together or for donating a prize for our draw.
Huge appreciation to David and his team at Woodbourne House, Bianca from The Event Stylists, Woodbourne Deli, Martin Sewell and his wonderful dancers - Swing in the Isle, and Sonia Callin for her musical touches to complement our Candlelights and Diamonds theme for the night.
Prize draw donors included Atla Group, Willow Spa, Tevir Limited, Wayne Lee of Endor Consultants LLC, Isle of Man Travel and Events Services, Yvonne at Equilibruim, Studio 1, Wine Down, Allison and Steve McGowan, Elaine’s Florist, Elaine from Taylor Made Cakes, Les and Lindsey Nicol, Steve and Sarah Turner, Emma Henthorn and Angela Knight from Tropic.
We danced the night away to music provided by Will from Matt Fletcher Entertainment with the evening brilliantly compered by Cruse supporter, Peter Sutton.
It was a wonderful evening, but we never lose sight of the fact that our charity makes a difference to those need our bereavement support. A timely reminder was provided on the night by Jack, aged 17 who spoke so eloquently the difference our charity had made to him. Jack is a Cruse ambassador and recorded this video earlier this year.
Our next event is Wear Bright for Cruse on Friday 06 December 2024 and we'll be releasing further further details about that soon.
