We held our black-tie dinner at Woodbourne House recently. The theme was ‘A Room Full of Stars’.
Over 120 guests attended a magical night with Howard Parkin MBE talking about the Isle of Man’s amazing 26 dark sky sites.
3,000 was raised for Cruse with our Chief Executive, Mary Doyle, thanking all guests for being so generous.
She also thanked all raffle donors including the Isle of Man Steam Packet, Yvonne Donlan, Jess from Studio Vida, Deb Byron, Mary and Jerry Linehan, The Henthorn family, Isle of Man Creamery, Barbary Coast, The Claremont Hotel, Brightlife, Intact Insurance and Elaine’s Florists.
Mary added: “It was a lovely evening with everyone enjoying the night – I am grateful that people give to our small charity – thank you.”
During the dinner, we played a video made by BBC Children in Need video as part of the 2025 BBC Children in Need campaign. This short video features Millie explaining the difference Cruse made to her after her brother, Rhys, died in 2023.
