We went to the Cruse Scotland conference

Some of us went to the Cruse Scotland annual conference in Stirling, Scotland last weekend. Events like these share the latest research into grief and are an opportunity to meet like-minded people to share experiences and reassure the team that we are keeping up in a fast-changing world of expectations for people around death and grief.

Our chair - John Whitehouse, CEO - Mary Doyle and Children & Young Peoples Bereavement Specialist - Claire Brew all made the trip, which was made possible by the generosity of Sally Helwich and Judy Arnold BEM at Isle of Man Events, and Hansard Global Plc.

John thanked both organisations for their terrific support adding it is great opportunity to share and learn from Cruse Scotland during their annual conference. It was very humbling to hear the volunteer and clients voices/stories and the difference Cruse makes.

The team also took the chance to visit the world-famous Kelpies while they were in the area.
