We held our 16th annual Mike Henthorn Cruse Memorial Golf Day at Peel Golf Club recently. This year's event was kindly sponsored by Suntera Global and saw 18 teams enjoy a fun day of golf while raising £8,300 for Cruse.

Mike Henthorn was a well-known and loved person who was involved with Cruse as vice-chair so it is fitting that this golf day is in his memory. His close friend and former Cruse chairman Sam Skelton is the main organiser, supported by Mike’s son, Mark who is Head of Operations at Cruse.

Chief Executive, Mary Doyle for Cruse commented that they were extremely grateful to Suntera Global, the Henthorn family and everyone who played on the day for their support.

Mark Reynolds, Managing Director of Suntera Global added: ‘It was a great day, well attended and raising funds for an excellent local charity. We have committed to supporting this event again next year and thank everyone for getting involved and raising valuable funds for a charity that makes such a significant impact to those who need bereavement support.
